Freedom of the Philippines

The 121^st Celebration of Independence Day is a national holiday here in the Philippines. It was held in July 4 but the former President Diosdado Macapagal moved it to June 12 where in Emilio Aguinaldo declared the Independence from Spain in the year 1898.

Within this day the government officials, employees, students, police, and military or almost all people is participating in nationwide parade. As traditions of Filipinos they display flags in many places during Independence Day.

It is a joyful day where in the Philippines has finally leaded by a Filipino not already those greedy Spaniards. It is a day to celebrated that we are free from the abuses of the Spaniards during Spanish Colony.
