Lesson Learned

REFLECTION: This grading I’ve learned a lot of lessons, I strived harder this time for me to have high grades again. First Grading taught me a lot of lessons too, for I need to concentrate to my studies more this 2nd grading. Knowing that having no honor for the very first time again, last quarter is such a disappointment to me, to my friends and to my family. But I know that it’s not always be the grades that I should be running for. It should be the learnings and discoveries because it is the most important of all and I’ll be using that for my future, to be a successful one someday. This quarter is very challenging but so fun. I know that challenges is something that makes us strong and become a better person. And facing it all with bravery and smile is enough for me to take down all those challenges.  That’s why this 2nd quarter I worked a lot. I know I did my best, I will do everything I can for me to get back the thing that I’ve always been getting since the ...

Happy Schools Movement

“You have to stay in school. You have to. You have to go to college. You have to get your degree. Because that's the one thing people can't take away from you is your education. And it is worth the investment”, Michelle Obama once said. Indeed, most of us spent and invested our time staying in the four side of the school’s classroom where our sense of responsibility had been developed, and where we are being molded. As time passed by, culture being observed in the school changes which corresponds to the things needed by the generation or the current time.                  Due to these changes, school-student relationships are being affected that leads to either a positive or negative effect to one of the two or even to both of them. Nowadays, students view schools as some sort of hell because of the toxicity brought by different school requirements, tasks, pressure given by the peers and some are...

SCIENCE MATH CELEBRATION

“Math-Sci Is Our Pride, Our Hope and Our Future.” Subjects which have been part of one’s educational journey. Mathematics and science brought changes in our lives, to our daily life challenges and struggles. Different principles that these two had taught us are applicable in solving circumstances that we might face or we had faced. From the Ancient Greek era, science and mathematics have been a way to understand the world around us. However, why students nowadays don not realize such things and importance of the named subjects?                 Many of today’s elementary and high school students look at their mathematics and science classes as either a waste of time or irrelevant to their future lives. There are also times when students say, “Why do we need to know about the radicals, the trigonometric functions, the elements, and the momentum of a falling object when in fact we cannot use ...

An Inspirable Hero

“When you reach out, and you touch me with your heart;  Then you hold what I am becoming in your hands and though you are with me just a while; Today you hold tomorrow’s smile in your hands”                Four lines from unfamiliar song yet strike the heart of every students to render words of thank you for all of the teachers they had.                Many have wished to become a teacher who touches the lines of the youth but not all has given the chance to become one because of certain reasons. But no matter what reasons are those, lucky are the ones who has given the opportunity to become a teacher, as well as lucky are those children to have their teachers who are passionate enough to fulfill their responsibilities. Teachers are not just teachers as the second mother or father, their friend, their adviser and so on and so forth. No matter how they call their teachers, it is must tha...

Intramurals is a Perfect Opportunity

Intramurals highlights camaraderie, sportsmanship, and it is a perfect opportunity for the students to showcase their talents specially in the field of sports. It improves self-confidence, social relation, allows students ability to interact socially, and increases commitment to peers. Every one of us had experienced witnessing this worth awaited event that happens only ones in a school year. Practice here, practice there, and practice any where. A time when schools have become a playing ground where young athletes started their journey to become a pro-player in their own respective sports.                    Intramurals open the war between different grade levels in every school, the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Wherein the balls, rackets, shuttlecocks, boards and other sports equipment are the main weapon used by the different players.  During ...
