"Wikang Filipino ang siyang nagsisilbing pagkakakilanlan sa ating mga Filipino"
Sa tuwing buwan ng Agosto ating ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika. Ipinagdiriwang ito sa buong mundo. Napakahalaga ng Buwan ng Wika dahil nagbibigay halaga ito sa ating sariling wika.


Ang napili nilang tema ngayong taong 2019 ay Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa isang Bansang Filipino. Ipinapahayag ng temang ito na dapat nating gamitin ang ating sariling wika sapagkat mas mainam ito sa ating mga pagsasalik at pakikipagkomuniksyon. Tuwing pinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika maraming patimpalak ang nagaganap na nauuko'y sa tama at iba pa.  


"Wika" ito ay napakahalagang elemento sa isang bansa na itinuturing na matatag na bansa. Dito nakikila ang isang bansa, ang wika na ginagamit ng mga mamamayan dito. Pinagbubuklod-buklod nito ang mga mamamayan upang makamtam ang inaasam na mapayapang bansa. Ang wika ang siyang nagbibigay daan patungo sa epektibong pagsasaliksik at dito nagigigng malinaw ang mga impormasyong nakalap. Nagiging mainam ito upang mas maraming mamamayan ang makaintindi sa mga impormasyong nais ipahiwatig ng bawat isa.


Kailangan at dapat nating mahalin ang ating mga katutubong wika.

Linangin natin ang Wikang Filipino upang sa susunod magagamit pa ito sa mga susunod na henerasyon.
