VIGAN HERITAGE CITY SOLIDARITY DAY



World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day is being celebrated every September 8.
It is not only Vigan City who celebrates this day also with the other cities all over the world that have heritage sites. 


This is a very special day in Vigan City where in it is commemorated with week-long festivities to strengthen the pride of the history and culture of Vigan. The long-term goal is preserving the 630 heritage structures back from 18th to 19th century. This structures is the well-preserved Spanish trading town that survived after the World War II.


During this celebration it said that all 39 barangays including the students and NGO's will participate in the unique parade to dramatize the way of life of the Bigueno's during the time of Spanish Colonial up to the end of World War II, they walk around with a designated parade route and accompanied with a music. After the unique parade it is also said that it is followed by the Historia Oral where in it is like a story telling about the History of Vigan City and how Bigueno's live during that very old time.


Vigan City is rich in cuisine that has been enjoyed before and this famous food establishments are the popular Vigan Bagnet, the most loved Vigan Empanada, the most selled Vigan Longganisa and many other Vigan food establishments. And also the most loved delicacies the Marsha's they have the old-fashioned bibingka.
Vigan City is very unique when it comes to this things. Vigan City is a very vintage city.

Last Reflection

                  REALIZATION                      4th Quarter isn’t that easy and I expected that. There are so many things to complete and pass before exams in order for us to graduate in junior high.    I encountered a lot of challenges but then I remained calm so that I won’t be stressed out. It’s hard to manage or balance my time for my studies, family and friends but I always think and believe that I can do this. I will do everything to complete all my requirements so that after passing all of those I will start hanging out with my family and friends.                        I learned a lot this last quarter and all of the lessons I learnt I will use this for me to be successful someday.  I will always remember all the memories during my junior high years.
