          Foundation day is an important milestone every year because it is the day that the school has been founded or established. It is significant not only because of the number of years it has served the community where a school belongs to and also this is the special day that the entire school have been waiting for. Everyone is busy practicing and preparing weeks to be ready for this said event. Different activities are being done for the celebration of Ilocos Sur National High School's Foundation Day. The 118th ISNHS Foundation Day will be celebrated on March 1-2, 2020.


          The first day of the event will be used for the Grand Coronation Day wherein, the new king and queen will be formally crowned and also the 1st to 9th princes and princesses will be recognized. Second day will start with the parade of teachers and students who are dressed up for their field demo in the afternoon. After which, the program started with the arrival of honors performed by the CAT Unit of the school and there will be an opening remarks from the school principal and also an inspiring and wonderful message from the guest speaker. And the students of every grade level from grades 7 to 12 will have their Field Demonstration that will showcase different themes and talents. Field demo is also considered as one of the highlights of the said event.

          The program will close with the acknowledgment of all the participants during the event and will be extending gratitude for the wisdom, courage and commitment demonstrated by those who contributed to the establishment of the School.

Lesson Learned

REFLECTION: This grading I’ve learned a lot of lessons, I strived harder this time for me to have high grades again. First Grading taught me a lot of lessons too, for I need to concentrate to my studies more this 2nd grading. Knowing that having no honor for the very first time again, last quarter is such a disappointment to me, to my friends and to my family. But I know that it’s not always be the grades that I should be running for. It should be the learnings and discoveries because it is the most important of all and I’ll be using that for my future, to be a successful one someday. This quarter is very challenging but so fun.
