UNITED NATIONS CELEBRATION

United Nations Day, above and beyond is celebrated to remember the organization of the United Nations and its agenda of promoting human rights, diversity, and progress around the world. Basically, it is the United Nation’s birthday, celebrated every 24th day of the month.

Today peace faces a new danger: the climate emergency, which threatens our security, our livelihoods, and our lives. That is why it is the focus of this year’s International Day of Peace, which is "Climate Action for Peace". The theme draws attention to the importance of combatting climate change as a way to protect and promote peace throughout the world. Climate change causes clear threats to international peace and security. Natural disasters displace three times as many people as conflicts, forcing millions to leave their homes and seek safety elsewhere. The salinization of water and crops is endangering food security, and the impact on public health is escalating. The growing tensions over resources and mass movements of people are affecting every country on every continent.

United Nations Day is indeed a very important one because its purpose is to make our world at peace and make people cooperate in making our world as one.

Last Reflection

REALIZATION                      4th Quarter isn’t that easy and I expected that. There are so many things to complete and pass before exams in order for us to graduate in junior high.    I encountered a lot of challenges but then I remained calm so that I won’t be stressed out. It’s hard to manage or balance my time for my studies, family and friends but I always think and believe that I can do this. I will do everything to complete all my requirements so that after passing all of those I will start hanging out with my family and friends.                        I learned a lot this last quarter and all of the lessons I learnt I will use this for me to be successful someday.  I will always remember all the memories during my junior high years. And to all the teachers I met and taught me a lot ...
