Children’s Month Celebration

  November is declared  as  National Children’s Month as stated in Republic Act 10661 to commemorate the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly on November 20, 1980.  This celebration advocated  the well-rounded education of children, as children were the building blocks of the nation and its future . This  celebration seeks to increase knowledge of parents/caregivers on how to handle or educate their children . For example, while in the cyberspace,  t hey learn to  intensify the  advocacy of positive discipline. In classrooms, the dynamics in daily teaching. Filipino values for which the Filipino people are known worldwide. These are some of the array of Filipino Values, The Volunteerism, Helping one another, Loyalty, Loss of face and prestige , Debt of gratitude, Self-reliance, Comradeship, Helpful,Resourceful, Philanthropic, Respect for elders by using of Po and Opo when addressing them and being God-Centered. Through the centuries interactions with peoples of different cultures. Filipinos have acquired patience, filial piety, close family ties, business acumen and integrating them into their way of life.
