  November is declared  as  National Children’s Month as stated in Republic Act 10661 to commemorate the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly on November 20, 1980.  This celebration advocated  the well-rounded education of children, as children were the building blocks of the nation and its future .
